
Stranded Man Who Spent The Night on Soper Mountain Rescued
A 51-year-old man, who was part of a hiking group with two coworkers and became separated from them, was rescued by Maine Game Wardens and the Maine Association of Search and Rescue Technical Rescue Team after spending the night on the ledge of Soper Mountain.
Wardens reached him Thursday night, Sept. 4, but could not attempt a rescue due to the terrain. Read more here
