
Stranded Hikers Rescued on Kosciuszko National Park
Over the weekend, Monaro Police and other volunteers came to the rescue of seven hikers who were lost in the Kosciuszko National Park area after they were found disoriented due to the weather conditions.
“Even experienced hikers with the right gear can be impacted by sudden weather changes and our advice to all hikers in the Alpine area is to always check for weather alerts, plan your route carefully, and take a PLB,” Supt Price said. Read more here
