Snowmobiler Rescued After Snowmobile Incident in Wyoming
The Carbon County Search and Rescue team came to the rescue of a snowmobiler who was found in a bathroom freezing to death after the individual's snowmobile broke down near Silver Lake in the Snowy Range area.
“Besides being cold, the subject was uninjured and did not require medical attention,” Bakken said. “Searchers were able to bring the stranded rider back to his truck.” Read more here
Great work to the Carbon County SAR team for rescuing the man as we wish him well. Since it's snowing in the mountains, please take precautions to be safe out there. Make sure to wear warm, appropriate gear and pack an essentials bag. If you plan to travel alone to the mountains, let someone know where you'll be heading and map out where you want to go and how you will get home. More importantly, please be safe out there!
