
Snowboarder Rescued After Avalanche Incident at Seagram Lake
On Tuesday, the Squamish Search and Rescue, along with RCMP and other volunteers, rescued a snowboarder who was buried in snow after an avalanche erupted in the Seagram Lake area near Whistler.
A Level 2 avalanche professional and two other experienced SAR members flew to Seagram Lake, and while they didn’t find the subject who was buried, they found other tourers and took photos of the slide while doing a snow stability assessment, Robinson said. Read more here
