Snow Skier Rescued By SAR Team Using Walkie Talkie
A Skier and his group were rescued by the Alpine Rescue team after he fell 1,000 feet off from Torreys Peak, injuring himself when the only piece of device they had on them to contact the SAR team was a walkie-talkie. The incident took place on Memorial Day.

Special thanks to the Alpine Rescue team and the Colorado Search and Rescue Association for rescuing the skier and his group by communicating with them through a walkie-talkie. Please be safe out there!
