
Skiers Killed in Alberta Avalanches in Two Separate Searches
Near Calgary, Alberta on Friday, two separate searches were conducted after two people were killed in avalanches with the first incident, a man and his companion had just come back from Lake Louise Ski Resort when one of them triggered an avalanche, killing the man as he was buried while in the second incident, a 34-year-old woman was killed after she was skiing with three other people where someone triggered an avalanche.
Avalanche Canada warned, “The hazard has dropped to CONSIDERABLE, but many slopes are still primed for human-triggering. Read more here
