Skier Rescued After Spending The Night At Out of Bonds Area in Blacktail Mountain Ski
In the early morning of Wednesday, a 79-year-old skier was rescued by multiple SAR teams in the Flathead County area of Montana. He had gone skiing on Tuesday and skied in an out-of-bounds area near the Blacktail Mountain Ski Area. He had to spend the night until SAR teams came to rescue him.
According to the sheriff’s office, the skier had gone off-trail and become disoriented. He then spent the night in a tree well, making a small fire and using pine boughs for warmth. Read more here
