Search Underway For Three Missing Skiers in Lone Peak Avalanche
A search and rescue is underway after an avalanche erupted on Lone Peak in Utah where three people are said to have been buried in the aftermath of the eruption.
Large, dangerous avalanches are rare this late in the ski season because daytime warmth typically stabilizes the snowpack, the Utah Avalanche Center's Craig Gordon told reporters. Read more here
