Search For Missing Man in Banks Lake Launched
A search was launched for a man who went missing on Banks Lake as SAR divers from the Confederate Tribes of the Colville Reservation and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Police continued their search on Friday but quickly changed to recovery as the man supposedly might have drowned.
In a recent interview, Grant County Sheriff Joey Kriete said county residents and visitors are encouraged to ask GCSO to inspect their watercraft for sufficient lifesaving equipment such as flotation devices and asked that people be cautious on the water as summer progresses. Read more here
