
SVFD Rescues Teen Climbers Near Stevens Creek Trailhead
Over the weekend, the Spokane Valley Fire Department team and other volunteers came to the aid of a group of teen climbers stranded near the Stevens Creek Trailhead after one of the climbers fell 20 ft. down from a cliff and suffered a leg injury.
A member of SVFD’s Technical Rescue Team, familiar with the terrain, led the climb to reach the teens.
