SAR Teams Rescued Hiker Stuck on North Shore Mountain
Two SAR teams, North Shore Rescue and Lions Bay Search and Rescue, have rescued a hiker stuck on the ledge of North Shore Mountains where he could dial 911 for help in the early morning of Sunday.
“Due to his location it was decided that a long line was the best extraction method,” North Shore Rescue wrote. Read more here
Excellent work to both SAR teams for rescuing the man. We hope the hiker recovers well and to add furthermore, it's a great thing he was able to call for help while being stuck on the ledge of a mountain. Please be safe out there!
