
SAR Teams Rescued Distressed Injured Hiker on Strathcona Park
An injured hiker was rescued by the Comox Valley Search and Rescue team and other volunteers after he slipped on a ledge at Strathcona Park above Century Sam Lake an injured himself when he sent an SOS Emergency iPhone text to let SAR teams know where he was at.
The man, whose name was not released, was hiking alone above the lake, which is at the base of the Comox Glacier, Berry said Tuesday. Read more here
