SAR Teams Finds Mother And Infant Child Safe in Jefferson National Forest
SAR teams which include the Botetourt County Sheriff's Office and others have found a 25-year-old woman and her infant child safe after they were reported missing in Jefferson National Forest until one SAR team member found them on Hop Hope Trail on Saturday night.
Officials are reminding hikers that the Hoop Hole trail is considered to be moderately difficult to navigate with challenging elevated terrain. Read more here
