
SAR Team Rescues Man After Cry For Help in Castlegar
A man was rescued by SAR Team in Castlegar after locals heard a cry for help from him near the Columbia River after he was found on a steep bank last Friday.
a Blueberry Creek resident was letting their dog outside when they heard calls for help that appeared to be coming from across the Columbia River in an area below the Mel DeAnna Trail, according to the Ootischenia Fire Department’s assistant chief, Cory Medland. Read more here
