
Portland Hiker Rescued on Wind Mountain
An 85-year-old man from Portland, OR was rescued by the Skamania County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue team after the hiker became stranded for hours until SAR teams came to his aid.
“At approximately 1:21 a.m., volunteers from the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team located the hiker who was approximately 75 feet off the trail,” the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office wrote on social media. Read more here
