Overnight Hunter Rescued At Foreman Creek Area
On Sunday morning, the Plumas County SAR team came to the rescue for a 71-year-old hiker after he was due to meet his brother right by their vehicles around 11. AM in the Foreman Creek area.
While ground teams continued working, SAR personnel spotted the glow of a small campfire roughly a mile from the area where the brothers had planned to hunt — far off the expected path. Believing it might be a critical lead, SAR personnel made their way to the site. Read more here
