
NH Fish and Game Rescues Hiker At Carter Notch Hut
On Tuesday morning, the N.H. Fish Game, along with AVSAR, LRSAR, and other volunteers, came to the rescue for a 66-year-old hiker who tripped in one of the bunkrooms of the Carter Notch Hut where she was staying the night before, suffering a chest injury as she couldn't go out and hike.
The injury worsened overnight and by the morning the pain was deemed too great to be able to be able to hike out on her own. Read more here
