
NCSSAR Rescues Couple From Blizzard
The Nevada County Sheriff's Search and Rescue team rescued a couple and their dog from a blizzard after they were stranded for 48 hours in the Lowell Hill area.
Officials said a 45-year-old man, his girlfriend and dog were stranded after their off-road vehicle's differential broke. Read more here
Great work to the NCSSAR team for rescuing the couple and their dog. I can't imagine being stuck in the blizzard for 2 days with my dog, but we're glad they are found safe and well. Please be safe out there!
