
Missing Hiker Rescued on Beartooth Mountains
A 73-year-old hiker, who went missing over the weekend while out on a hike at the Beartooth Mountains, was found safe near the Beartooth Plateau on Monday.
"The man was in good overall condition and is being checked out medically as a precaution," the press release states. Read more here
We want to thank the SAR teams for their dedicated rescue of the man, and we wish him a speedy recovery. This is a reminder for those who plan on a solo hike, is to map out your destination from start to finish. It's also important to let a close relative or friend know where you are heading, by either sharing your location with them if you have the iPhone or just letting them know.
