Massive Earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand Claims Dozens

The weekend for Myanmar and Thailand was catastrophic as a massive 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit on Friday, killing at least 2,000 people as of now.

The number of deaths is likely to rise further, as many parts of the country have been cut off. Read more here

This is by far one of the worst earthquakes in the world. As countries are sending their SAR teams to Myanmar and Thailand, we will update everyone on this incident. We send our deepest condolences to the friends and families who lost their loved ones in the earthquake. Please, be safe out there, everyone!


UPDATE- A 63-year-old woman was found safe by SAR volunteers in Myanmar on Tuesday after being submerged under a disintegrated building for more than 91 hours, as the death toll exceeded to 2,719 people. Stay tuned for more updates as SAR teams continue their search. Read more here
