Man Rescued From Deep Mud on Juan de Fuca Marine Trail
Hikers had rescued a man stuck in deep mud up to his hips on the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail for a couple of hours while the Juan de Fuca SAR team was on their way to rescue him.
Clarke said conditions on parts of the trail can be “very, very” muddy at times and it’s not unusual for people to sink up to their knees, but this was the first time she’s heard of someone sinking up to their waist. Read more here
