
Man Found Safe After Failing To Meet With Friends in Southland
A man was found safe by the LandSAR and the Southland Police after he went on a solo walk in the Southland area and was stuck between a gorge along the river where he failed to meet his friends who also came along with him. Luckily, he has no injuries.
The tramper was well equipped for a night out, however concerns increased when he failed to return to the designated rendezvous point this morning, Thursday 19 October. Read more here
