Man Dies While Exploring Mine on Prince of Wales Island
Last week, a 50-year-old man from Washington State who was visiting a relative up in Alaska died after he and other people went to explore the Salt Chuck Mine on the Prince of Wales Island where he suffered a health complication and was pronounced dead at the scene.
By the time Troopers and Village Public Safety Officers arrived on the scene, it was dark and beginning to snow. Read more here
