Lost Hiker Found Safe By PRSAR Near Nanton Lake
The Powell River Search and Rescue rescued a hiker who was lost in the wilderness near Nanton Lake due to a mishap with his GPS device, as it required battery charging.
He said he realized he was getting into trouble because the Gaia app was quickly gobbling up his phone battery and he had no backup battery with him. Read more here
