
Japan To Conduct Testing of Drones For Search and Rescue
The Japanese government of Hokkaido will conduct drone tests to help guide safer search and rescue, especially during winter.
The prefectural government said that they would conduct demonstrations in the towns of Kamishihoro and Tobetsu on the assumption that drones could be used to deliver relief supplies when roads and other access lines are cut off and to inspect avalanche fences and dams. Read more here
