
Injured Hiker Rescued in Carroll County
Last Friday, a hiker was rescued by Carroll County EMS and Fire Department team after the individual went on a hike into the woods where they slipped and fell at least 20 feet down an embankment, sustaining an injury.
Due to the location of the injured person, terrain, and prolonged time to extricate the patient, the Maryland State Police Aviation Command was requested to perform a medevac. Read more here
