Injured Hiker Rescued Near Seiad Valley

On Sunday, the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue came to the rescue of a female hiker, who had an ankle injury after she went hiking on the Pacific Crest Trail where she slipped and injured her ankle.

The sheriff's office requested that the California Highway Patrol Air Operations fly over the pinged location of the hiker and attempt to rescue her. Read more here
