
Hiker Rescued At Mount Bierstadt
The Alpine Rescue Team assisted a hiker who attempted to summit Mount Bierstadt until his shoes froze and his father called for help.
At about midnight, a team near the creek crossing saw a light flashing a mile north of their location.

Great work to the Alpine Rescue Teams for rescuing the hiker as we also commend the hiker for signaling the rescue team to find him but using the source of light. It's essential to make sure to wear the right appropriate clothing this winter season. If you plan on going to the mountains this winter, please layer and bundle up.
