On December 5th, the Inyo Search and Rescue team rescued a hiker who was stuck under a 6,000-10,000-pound boulder for 7 hours after hiking up in the Inyo Mountains where the individual sustained a leg injury on the left side.

I can't imagine what the person was going through while waiting for SAR teams to come to the rescue, especially waiting for them for long hours. We hope the hiker is recovering well from their injuries. Great work to the Inyo SAR team for rescuing the person. please be safe out there!
