Hiker Missing Since New Years Found Dead
The body of a hiker who has been missing since New Year's Day has been recovered in the Dolomites Mountains in Italy after he and a friend went on a hiking trip and were supposed to come back home to the U.K.. Still, both men never showed up, and a few days later, SAR teams found the body of the friend.
The outlet noted that Ziriat, 36, was found "lying in a rocky crevice" and was only "around 1,300 ft." away from where Harris, 35, was found. Read more here
We send our deepest condolences to the families and friends of both Aziz Ziriat and Samuel Harris. Thank you to the SAR teams for their dedicated efforts. Please be safe out there, everyone!
