
Hiker Group Rescued on Mount Anne After Severe Weather Destroys Tents
SAR Teams had their hands full on Sunday after they rescued a group of hikers on Mount Anne after their tents were demolished by severe weather.
A police spokesperson said the group, consisting of three men and a youth from Tasmania, was well prepared for the hike but failed to appreciate the risks associated with weather warnings for the area, placing themselves and the rescue party in danger. Read more here
