
Hiker Gets Struck By Tree Due To Bad Weather Near Monarch Lake Trailhead
Last Saturday, a 20-year-old hiker was struck by a fallen tree that resulted him in falling down a ravine while out on a hike near the Monarch Lake Trailhead in Colorado where he suffered injuries due to harsh weather conditions.
Instead, rescuers pulled him from the ravine, stabilized him and carried him back to the trailhead, where he was taken to specialty care about a 100-mile drive southeast to Denver.
