Hiker Dies After Falling Off Cliff in Agnes Vaille Falls Trail
The Chaffee County Search and Rescue North recovered the body of a 38-year-old hiker after the man went hiking with his family on the Agnes Vaille Falls Trail and wanted to continue hiking on his own, where he attempted to climb up the cliff, but fell at least 100 feet down.
Based on evidence found at the scene, he attempted to climb a cliff face at the falls without equipment, possibly lost his grip and fell more than 100 feet, the sheriff's office said. Read more here
