Helicopter Rescues Eleven People and Dog After Mt Saint Helens Landslide
The King County Search and Rescue team has rescued at least 11 people and a dog after a landslide hit near Mt. Saint Helens Sunday night where people had to spend a night in their cars.
At least 11 people and a dog spent the night on the other side of the slide, staying up at Johnston Ridge Observatory. King County Search and Rescue utilized its helicopters to extract the people. Read more here
According to the article, SR 504 remains closed due to the landslide until further notice. Special shout out to the King Count SAR team for rescuing 11 people and dog out of the area. Please be safe out there!
