
German Hiker and SAR Team Member Rescued After Being Buried in Austria Avalanche
A 74-year-old German Hiker and a SAR team member were rescued on Saturday from an avalanche in the Karwendel area of Austria.
The helicopter sent from Tyrol had to turn around, but two German helicopters were able to support search and rescue efforts, as well as avalanche dogs from the Bavarian mountain rescue. Read more here
