
Four College Students Rescued By Powell County SAR At Red River Gorge
The Powell County Search and Rescue Team has rescued four college students at Red River Gorge after they became stranded while camping out as risky winter weather started to come through on Monday.
According to a Facebook post fromĀ Powell County Search & Rescue, the call was received at 9:28 a.m. after students from Asbury College camped on top of Courthouse Rock in Red River Gorge overnight, underestimating weather conditions. Read more here
