Fire Department in Hawaii Rescues Woman and Dog
A woman and her dog were rescued by the Honolulu Fire Department after the dog fell off the Wiliwilinui Trail as she was trying to save the canine.
With the help of the hiker’s cellphone, they were able to plot her geolocation “with a high-level of confidence” at about two miles from the trailhead. Read more here
Special thanks to the Honolulu Fire Department and others who helped to rescue the woman and her dog. It's a good thing the dog was leashed which made it easier for the HFD to locate the dog. Please be safe out there!
