
Family Rescued By Alaska Army National Guard on Kuskokwim River
On Monday, the Alaska Army National Guard team came to the rescue of a family of six who had been stranded on the Kuskokwim River after their boat got stuck on a sandbar.
High wind and rough water conditions prevented community efforts to reach the individuals utilizing other watercraft. Read more here
