Douglas County Search and Rescue Rescues Injured Climber on Rampart Range
The DCSAR had its hands full over the weekend, after rescuing a climber who suffered injuries from a fall on Devil's Head on Rampart Range.
The team said they conducted a two-pitch high-angle rescue, followed by an exposed carry, a second shorter pitch high-angle lower, then several low-angle pitches to get the climber back to safety.
