After hours of being stranded in the backcountry, we're glad to hear the snowboarder was rescued safely all thanks to the Comox Valley Search and Rescue team. Please be prepared for anything if you plan on traveling up the mountains during the new season such as packing an essentials bag and dressing warm. We hope the snowboarder recovered from her hip injury. As always, please be safe out there!
