
Canadian SAR Team Rescues Injured Woman
The Canadian SAR Team rescued a woman after she flew off her snowmobile and landed on a pile of ice near Butt's Pond, injuring herself.
The woman was wearing all the proper safety equipment including a helmet. RCMP say she received immediate care from her riding companions who included a registered nurse, and a firefighter in training, until the rescue team arrived. Read more here
We wish the woman a speedy recovery and adding furthermore, I want to shout out to the SAR Team for coming to her aid and I also want to commend her for wearing a helmet and other protective gear. Please be safe out there!
