Body of New Hampshire Hiker Recovered in Pikes Peak
Teller County SAR and El Paso County SAR have recovered the body of a 55-year-old man from New Hampshire in Pikes Peak after not returning home last Thursday after a trip to Colorado Springs on June 10th with plans to hike up Pikes Peak.
The helicopter recovery mission was coordinated after it became clear that rescue teams could not access Hardy safely on foot, according to a media release from the sheriff's office. Read more here
