Body of Missing Kayaker Found at Jacobson Park

SAR teams in Lexington, KY have recovered the body of a missing 28-year-old man at Jacobson Park after his kayak was found overturned in a reservoir by bystanders late Sunday afternoon where his body was found Sunday night.

According to Maj. Derek Roberts with LFD, their department was called to the scene around 5:15 p.m. after witnesses saw a kayak overturn in the reservoir and the individual did not resurface.
