Body of Hiker Recovered At Rocky Mountain National Park
The Mesa Verde Interagency Helitak team recovered the body of a 66-year-old woman on July 2nd, who was due to come home on July 1st while out hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park area, where she was believed to have fallen near the Chasm Lake area.
The woman’s body was found in the early morning on Wednesday, July 2, on the south side of Chasm Lake on a scree slope, an unstable steep slope composed of rock fragments and other debris. Read more here
