Thank you to Mono County SAR and other volunteers for the rescue of two backpackers. This serves as a reminder to everyone to always stay and be prepared when adventuring outdoors. Make sure you bring a bag full of emergency essentials such as a first aid kit, a warm blanket, a water bottle, and don't forget to charge your phone before going out. If your phone does not have any service, please ensure you get an emergency beacon in case you get lost. As always, please be safe out there, everyone!
