
BSARU Rescues Two People From Heat Exhaustion at the Cheviots
The Borders Search and Rescue rescued a father-son duo on the Cheviots Hills on Sunday after running out of water while hiking during their camping trip.
BSARU said the 54-year-old man and his 17-year-old son had been out overnight after setting off from Morebattle in the Scottish Borders, but in Sunday's heat "found themselves in trouble far from safety" after running out of water. Read more here
