Alberta Avalanche Injures One Person
RCMP and other volunteers came to the rescue of one person who was injured after the hiking group triggered the avalanche in the Crowsnest Pass area causing one person to be buried in it.
Fortunately, says SARSAR President, Nick Morantz, the hikers were all properly equipped and trained in avalanche safety. Read more here
