
AVSAR Rescues Stranded Woman After Bear Chase in Colorado Wilderness
The Alamosa Volunteer Search and Rescue saved a woman's life last Monday after she became stranded from her hiking partner and was chased by a black bear near the Zepata Falla area where she was found dehydrated and sunburnt.
AVSAR said she had brought a bottle of 50 glucose pills to sustain her and manage her diabetes. Read more here
