
SAR Team Rescues Hiker After Eleven Hour Rescue
A hiker in his 20s was rescued by SAR Team in New Mexico near Organ Mountain after he sustained an ankle injury on Saturday, resulting in an 11-hour rescue for the missing man.
As the sun set, the companions were escorted down the mountain because they did not have lights. Villalobos said the rescue effort was also complicated by the injured man’s underlying medical conditions and that he and his companions went off trail before becoming injured. Read more here
