Missing Hiker Found Safe in Burton Park
A hiker, who went missing after not returning before the day got dark, was found safe by 15-90 Search and Rescue in the Burton Park area.
He was assessed and determined to be in good condition, but he told crews that he became disoriented after a fall while treasure hunting. Read more here
Thank you to 15-90 SAR and other volunteers for rescuing the hiker back to safety. This is a reminder to always plan out your hiking trip before heading out, by making sure you have a start-finish destination, and always bring an emergency bag of essentials in case you get lost.
